SMALL MERCIES by Alison Rose, directed by David Weinberg

(Having trained at The Drama Centre, Alison has worked as an actress in film, TV and theatre, including two years with The RSC. As a writer Alison has been commissioned by The BBC, Kudos and Channel Four. She has written three full length plays, performed her one woman show 'Tussy' in Stratford, Newcastle, at The King's Head and The Almeida and has five screenplays in development.)
David Weinberg has worked as both an actor and a director in London's West End. Most recently he directed Macbeth at Piper's Opera House and Bertolt Brecht's adaptation of Coriolanus in a festival hosted by the RSC in Stratford upon Avon. He has received a directing award from the Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts and holds an MA from RADA.
UNSEEN DUCKS by Karen Perkins, directed by Cecily Boys
A haunting tale about a boy's strange meeting with a girl in a world not quite like ours. The reason soon becomes clear.
(Karen Perkins lives in London with a selection of pens and more ink than could feasibly be used in a lifetime. Her first play was written and self-produced at age six; it received a standing ovation followed by a seated ovation then naptime.)
Cecily has her own fringe theatre company, Old Bomb Theatre with which she achieved sell out shows at York Theatre Royal's Studio. She has directed for numerous venues including York Shakespeare Co, Theatre 503 and London Playwrights Collective. Cecily produced and directed TALKING IN BED (by Tom Green) for 503 which sold out and achieved excellent reviews.
TOM & JERRY by Nick Myles, directed by Monique Sterling
A romantic evening for two doesn't quite go according to plan.
(Nick studied English Literature and Creative Writing at Lancaster University (BA), and Scriptwriting at City University (MA with Distinction). THE INTERVIEW by Erasmus Murakami, directed by Jon Bradshaw
An absurdist piece about the job interview from hell.
(Erasmus Murakami trained at L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and studied playwriting at Birmingham University. His work celebrates the banal. Joyfully. He also writes music, or composes himself. Depending on mood. He lives near the seaside with his partner and two children, gifted him by the gods.)
After many years as an actor in the North Of England, Jon trained at Bretton Hall (Class Of '91). He set up his own theatre company, Electric Sheep Performance in York before moving to London in 2002. Now he works as an Actor and Director as well teaching at The Actor Works Drama School and Identity drama School. Jon is a member of In Company Theatre. He will be appearing as Jimmy in 'The Revengers' at Baron's Court Theatre May 10th - May 22nd.
