Suzette Coon - Artistic Director & Producer
Suzette founded Little Pieces of Gold in September 2010. She curates the shows. A writer herself, she is passionate about new writing and committed to staging the work of emerging writers.
Lydia Parker - Associate Director & Reader
Lydia, originally from New York, is a director, writer and actor. She most recently directed Our Children Will be Next at Theatre 503.Other recent directing work includes plays at the Brockley Jack including Skinhead by Jessica Brown and plays at Southwark Playhouse, Old Red Lion Theatre and the Off-Cut Festival. Lydia founded theOver Here Theatre Company in 2002 which produced American plays and comedy sketch shows in London, including her own plays Gringo and American Dream at the Union Theatre and New Wimbledon Studio. She has since directed sketch shows, plays and live performances of sitcoms including All I Need is a F**k Buddy, Long Term Sick and Baby It's Cold Outside for the Sitcom Trials at the Leicester Square Theatre. Lydia also produces a play reading festival of new North American plays at the Tristan Bates Theatre and directed one of them, Fifteen Men in a Smoke Filled Room by Colin Crowley. She is currently working on No One Loves Us Here (by Ross Howard) which will receive a staged reading at Theatre 503 in March 2013.
Laura Jessop - Reader
Laura Jessop is a script reader for The National Theatre, and was previously Senior Reader at Finborough Theatre. She is currently specialising in Russian and Eastern European new writing and is aiming to bring this work to the UK.
Marie Kearney - Stage Manager and Technical Director
Marie has worked with LPoG since its inception. She is responsible for all the technical aspects of the shows.
